Vic Garcia is one of Miami’s budding artists. In just a few short years, he’s built his world of characters and been able to see his pieces be put up in the homes of celebrities and athletes around the nation. When Vic and I spoke about showcasing the journey that he and his work go through, we couldn’t wait to get started.
“Franklin Goes V.G.A.”
After delivering a 1/1 piece to Pelicans rookie sensation Jaxson Hayes in November of 2019, his teammate Franklin Jackson reached out to get his own. Incorporating the characters from V.G.A. World within the silhouette of Franklin from Peanuts allowed Vic to create a piece that brings Franklin along as a new member in the journey that is V.G.A. World.

Vic was given the honor of painting the official poster for the 2020 installation of Carnaval Miami. While putting the finishing touches on the poster, he had a very special friend stop by the studio to help him make sure it was perfect and help with the reveal!
